Eyelid Surgery with the UltraFine® Carbon Dioxide Laser
The same laser that rejuvenates your skin can also make your eyes look fresher and more youthful. Blepharoplasty, as the eyelift is technically known, removes excess skin from the upper eyelids and eliminates the bags under the eyes that make you look sad or tired.
Because the laser seals blood vessels when it touches them, there is less bleeding, swelling and bruising than with traditional scalpel techniques. Healing is faster and recovery speedier.
For the lower lids, the extremely precise laser is used to make a tiny bloodless incision and remove the fat pads that cause bags under the eyes. The incision is invisible and no stitches are needed.
The procedure, which takes about an hour, requires at least a week's convalescence. The benefits are obvious: a more rested, youthful appearance. It is not surprising that the laser eyelift is one of our most popular procedures.
How Much Does It Cost?
The cost varies, because we personalize each treatment. Facial treatment usually costs between $1,000 and $4,000, while eyelid surgery runs between $2,000 and $4,000.
Patients often request both procedures at once--skin resurfacing (Resurfacial®) and eyelid surgery (blepharoplasty)--for a total youthful makeover.
